Bio:
Saachi received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Bombay in Bombay, India. She holds her Primary certificate from the Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center in Chicago. Saachi has been a valued faculty member and a constant resource to the children, faculty, and parents of MSLF since 1978. In the past, she presented a workshop at the Training Center, focusing on the development of five year olds, and she has been a presenter at the Illinois State Kindergarten Conference. Saachi is trained as a classical Indian dancer, and she loves classical music and dance. She also volunteers at a Chicago soup kitchen, serving meals for the homeless. Last year, Saachi was honored by the Highland Park City Council for being cited as a “Terrific Teacher” by Make It Better Magazine, of the North Shore.
