Bio:
Mia began her Montessori journey as a Primary student in 1969. She has fond memories of scrubbing, spooning and, of course, building the pink tower. During her junior year in college, Mia was reacquainted with Montessori when she conducted a study as part of a marketing class. Mia received her BA in Business from Lake Forest College. After graduating Mia went on to obtain a Primary Montessori Certificate from the Montessori Institute of Milwaukee, WI. Mia has taught at the primary level since 1988. From 2000-2003, Mia took a three year sabbatical from teaching to serve as MSLF’s Admission Director. Her daughter, Gianna, attends the Elementary program.
