Accreditation
The Montessori School of Lake Forest has earned affiliation status with the Association Montessori International (AMI) for its Elementary programs. In addition, the Montessori School of Lake Forest is fully accredited by the American Montessori Society, (AMS)

Affiliation
Independent Schools Coordinating Council
The Montessori School of Lake Forest is a member of the Independent Schools Coordinating Council (ISCC) of Lake Bluff and Lake Forest. Other member schools include: DePaul University at Barat Campus, Forest Bluff Montessori School, Lake Forest Academy, Lake Forest College, Lake Forest Country Day School, and Woodlands Academy. ISCC member schools meet regularly to pool resources, share ideas, and offer support.
