Bio:
Kathryn joined the MSLF faculty in August 2002. She has worked in Montessori education since 1975, developing a solid grounding in both Montessori pedagogy and traditional educational theory, also serving as a Montessori teacher, consultant, and guide to student teachers. Kathryn holds a BS in Home Economics, and Montessori Primary training from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana. Kathryn earned both Montessori Elementary training, and a Benincasa Diploma for Montessori Special Education through Sion Hill Montessori College at Blackrock in Dublin, Ireland. She earned a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Montessori Elementary Education from Cleveland State University, in Cleveland, OH. She holds a Wisconsin Teaching License for grades 1-6, among other graduate degrees. Kathryn also earned a MS in Earth Literacy from St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
