Bake Sale Success Supports Farmers in Puerto Rico
May 07, 2018

MSLF Elementary students recently hosted a Bake Sale, which raised nearly $300 for the Paloma del Carmen Fund! This group of amazing children organized, promoted and executed a beautiful bake sale that completely sold out! With the money raised by MSLF, the Fund will be able to provide assistance to a farm in need, which will result in more jobs, support for the local economy and will help regrow much-needed crops destroyed by the hurricanes.

Thank you to the entire MSLF community for your support of this project. It was truly a success!

The Paloma Del Carmen Fund’s mission is to raise funds that will support the 3.5 million Americans devastated by Hurricane Maria. 100% of all proceeds from this fund will benefit victims and rebuilding efforts in Puerto Rico. Age 6 and age 12 in Montessori are referred to as the capstone years. During these years children really dive into big work and develop their self-confidence.
