Julia Lunn

Julia brings to the MSLF community the generous motives and confident mindset that have marked her adult life. Professionally, Julia enjoyed over twenty years as a dealer and appraiser of Chinese export porcelains and American impressionist paintings. She holds a BA in art history from Principia College. Prior to joining MSLF Julia held the “Environmental Education Fellowship” as the staff naturalist and educator for Lake Forest Open Lands Association. Julia’s other civic contributions include board positions for Winter Club Lake Forest, The Antiques Council (national), and the LRC Association (acting treasurer). Her volunteer time has been devoted to projects such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Meals on Wheels, Hilltop nursing home, CenterStage LF, and others. She is the mother of Jack and Henry both Montessori educated and whom she home schooled for their middle school years. Julia is active in her church, equally active in the kitchen, is a competitive athlete (tennis, paddle, running), and is the lynch-pin in two longstanding book groups.
