Kristin Caldwell

Originally from Rochester, New York, Kristin attended Trinity Montessori as a Primary student (and has some original word-building and metal insets to prove it). She graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BA in English and double minors in French and Marketing.

Kristin completed her Montessori Primary training with Seton Montessori Institute (formerly MECA) in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. She then spent several years with Oakview Montessori Children’s House in Lisle teaching in their Primary environment and conducting a French language enrichment program. After moving to Lake County, her three children attended the Montessori School of Long Grove and it was while she was working in their Toddler Program that Kristin completed her Birth-Three Montessori certification with Seton Montessori Institute.

In addition to her work with toddlers, Kristin has also served as a Parent-Infant Directress and is currently a La Leche League leader in Libertyville, providing information and support to area breastfeeding mothers and families. She lives in Prairie Crossing with her three children—Maggie, Jack, and Grace.
