Faculty Attend AMI/USA Conference in Seattle
February 18, 2020

Faculty members Jessica DeBruler (Toddler), Debbie Lincoln (Upper Elementary) and Kathryn Jasinski (Lower Elementary) traveled to Seattle last weekend to attend The Montessori Experience: Refresher Course & Workshops , presented by Association Montessori International of the United States (AMI/USA). This year’s professional conference theme was “Montessori and the Power of Nature,” and featured sessions that reminded attendees of the importance and the beauty of the nature which surrounds us. The featured keynote speaker was celebrated journalist and author Richard Louv .

This year, professional development for our teachers was supported by fundraising efforts from our Teacher Feature events, special themed events set-up with each teacher, where children enjoyed special fun at school with teachers and friends. We are grateful for the support from the MSLF community, in particular the support given to our amazing teachers to renew and refresh their knowledge with Montessori colleagues from around the world.
