Garden Club Veggie Delivery
September 1, 2014

gardenclub Children from the Lower and Upper Elementary classrooms gathered for Garden Club in the first week of school. They worked with Mrs. Bohnert, Mrs. Moore and Mrs Mannelly to weed the garden and pick some of the beautiful summer produce. They were able to fill bags to deliver to each of the classrooms at the Laurel campus. Each class received a mixture of tomatoes, kale, swiss chard and cucumbers. Children are excited to continue working in the garden each week and to be able to sell some of the produce in conjunction with the Adolescent Friday Market. Everyone at the Laurel campus is excited to watch the garden project grow!
