Teacher Appreciation Week: Debbie Lincoln
May 06, 2021

Our Elementary teachers get the spotlight today!

Debbie Lincoln leads our Upper Elementary students, having joined MSLF nearly 4 years ago. She discovered Montessori education while assisting in a Montessori classroom in Japan, and has taught in classrooms in Brooklyn, NY and Evanston.

Ms. Lincoln values the independence provided to students in a Montessori elementary classroom, which may not be available to them in traditional classroom setting. Her students are her favorite thing about MSLF! No doubt that her students feel the same way about her, especially due to her passion for the classroom and innovative ways to engage their learning.

When not at MSLF, she enjoys spending time with her two children, and catching up on the latest Netflix shows. If given the chance, you’d likely find her headed some place warm to try her hand at surfing!🏄‍♀️

Thank you, Ms. Lincoln, for all you do for the children at MSLF each day!☮❤🦉

Age 6 and age 12 in Montessori are referred to as the capstone years. During these years children really dive into big work and develop their self-confidence.
