On Monday, Hektor Grove was officially dedicated to Lissa and her late husband, Otto Hektor. From Primary to Adolescent, children quietly gathered in the Multipurpose Room for this surprise ceremony bringing Lissa to joyful tears. Board Member, Katherine Ritter, verbally illustrated the grove as a peaceful area where all are welcome to read, ponder and return as alumni. The beautiful bench and newly planted oak trees will provide a timeless remembrance of Lissa’s dedication and commitment; and alumni will recall their fond memories of this very special school.
